Consequently, drainage and moisture issues are top of mind for many homeowners in North Texas in the summer months. We recommend following these steps during the summer months:

 

  • Check all drainage points and ensure water is flowing away from your home. This also applies to all landscape and drainage systems – and don’t forget to check your downpipes and gutters as well. If these ever become clogged, they can cause extensive water damage, so be sure to include these features in your regular maintenance checks.
  • Additionally, ensure that all water-producing features on your home are pointing AWAY from the house in question. Think of sprinklers, hoses, fountains, and water slides. Any poorly directed water can lead to water damage in the home over time, so it’s much easier to prevent this than correct after damage is done.

 

Routine Cleaning
