Over the last few decades, we’ve built custom homes across DFW and learned a lot about its communities. There are so many excellent communities across North Texas, but a few in particular stand out from the rest. Read on to learn more!


Who doesn’t love a small-town feel? If you’re interested in a quaint town with a thriving and bustling main street, Grapevine is your community! This town is known for its lively business district, superb dining, and excellent parks for outdoor activities, so there’s really no part of Grapevine that isn’t a great place to reside. However, there are so many distinct neighborhoods to pay attention to.

Tillery Common, in particular, is an excellent example of all that Grapevine has to offer. This neighborhood offers several acres of green space, quick access to a creekside hiking trail, and 2000-square-foot lots with 3-bedroom/2.5-bathroom homes. We love Tillery Commons for this sort of access to natural beauty, but it isn’t the only neighborhood to consider in Grapevine. Some others include:

  • Shady Brook
  • Pecan Ridge
  • Wall Street Township


Also, don’t forget our newest project in Dove Station.  These luxury lots will be completed in the summer of 2024.


Southlake is another top DFW community to consider when looking to build.  The town is renowned for its festivals and dining and has some of the best schools in DFW. Southlake is a great community if you’re looking for a nice suburban area while still having access to all that Dallas and Fort Worth offer.

Ferguson Place is a sub-community to pay attention to if you’re interested in a luxury home neighborhood. This area offers quick access to Southlake and Grapevine, and construction began in the fall of 2023. Reach out to us for specifics on what is available.


Access to Dallas and Fort Worth is convenient, but DFW traffic can make it difficult to traverse the entirety of the Metroplex in one day. If you love both sides of DFW and don’t want to choose, Westlake might be the community for you! This centrally located area offers many great dining and shopping experiences and some large corporate employers. Plus, residents automatically qualify for Carroll ISD, which is a huge perk.

North Richland Hills

There are so many great areas in the Dallas-Fort Worth region for outdoor activities. However, North Richland Hills might be one of the best for those looking to make the most of the great outdoors. North Richland Hills boasts acres of parkland and hiking trails for its residents.

Plus, the nearby NRH2O Family Water Park is an excellent option for those looking to cool off during the summer! The Grove neighborhood is one key neighborhood to keep an eye on. We estimate that 48 lots will be completed in the summer of 2024.


Do you prefer a slower pace of life with a rural feel? Colleyville is an excellent community for you! This town is renowned for being a designated Safe City, and the entire city is known for its tree-covered green feel. However, the town is also a hop, skip, and jump away from Southlake and North Richland Hills.

Colleyville is a great community to consider if you want a safe, small-town community with access to all the perks of a big suburban area.
